The unique location of our former watermill building, on the banks of the Jeker, fully reflects the splendor and tranquility of our region, Haspengouw. Nature reserve De Kevie (800 m) is nearby. But the center of Tongeren is also a stone’s throw away (4 km).

The famous Limburg-Haspengouw cycle route network passes right in front of us (between nodes 112 and 114). But the cities of Hasselt (32 km), Liège (25 km), Maastricht (19 km) and Aachen (60 km) are also easily accessible.

Tongeren is known for the largest antiques and flea market in the Benelux. Every Sunday, more than 350 antique dealers display their best wares and thousands of people browse through old books and numerous antiques and brocante items for the ultimate treasure. You will meet various Europeans, but also an American or even a Japanese or Chinese.

In short, Tongeren is a worldly meeting place on Sundays, and that is what makes the antique market so charming.
